Food enriches body, mind, and soul

Think of your favorite food. Imagine the first time you had it. Can you see it? Can you smell it? Do you crave it? Is it full of warmth and indulgence? Does it remind you of a Thanksgiving long ago? Your grandmother? A hot summer day? A little restaurant back home? A cold and snowy night by the fireplace? Ahhh, how dull and monotonous life would be without the blessing of food.

Our Regional Theater is a National Treasure

The Oregon Shakespeare Festival, located in Ashland, or, a short two-hour drive north of Simpson University, is among the top three regional theater companies in the United States. Offering performances from mid-February through the end of November, OSF features eleven major productions on its three stages in the 2009 season, including The Music Man, Don Quixote, Macbeth, Henry VIII, Much Ado About Nothing, The Servant of Two Masters, and All's Well That Ends Well.

A Devotion To God's Word

"Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God." Matthew 5:8 (NKJV) This is one of the beatitudes Jesus taught His disciples during His Sermon on the Mount. The first awesome thing about this verse is that 'beatitude' is defined as "supreme blessedness or happiness" as the word 'blessed' literally means 'happy'! How wonderful is this? Jesus was teaching His disciples the meaning of supreme happiness, and thankfully Matthew recorded this teaching so that we too can learn from the Lord.
